This Wednesday you may feel worried about something. Worry is not a pleasant feeling, but we all worry about something! It is okay, your heart and mind have a lot to think about. Make sure you make room for wishes and joy. A helpful tradition that originated in Guatemala is: Worry Dolls. Worry dolls are also called trouble dolls. The idea is to you tell your worry to the doll. Then at night put it under your pillow. The story says, that the worry doll takes the worry from you. You then have a peaceful sleep. Tradition says to tell them your wishes too!
Today's Art Activity you will need:
Wooden Clothespins, Yarn or Embroidery Thread, Pipe cleaners
If you don't have all the materials above, other substitutes could work.
